Are you a skilled electrician with hands-on industry experience looking to share your expertise in a rewarding teaching role? Harrow College is inviting applications for a full-time Lecturer in Electrical Installation to join our dedicated team at the Harrow Weald Campus.

We boast state-of-the-art facilities designed specifically to support high-quality delivery of our Electrical Installation programmes. In this role, you’ll deliver engaging lessons across a variety of qualifications, including City & Guilds and EAL courses, helping students build the practical skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the electrotechnical sector.

What we are Looking For:

  • A Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation, such as an NVQ
  • Current certification in the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (C&G 2382-22 or similar)
  • Solid practical experience in the electrical installation industry
  • Knowledge of electro-technical systems
  • Familiarity with AM2 assessments (highly desirable)

In addition, if you’re new to teaching in Further Education (within your first 5 years), you could be eligible for a government-backed Targeted Retention Incentive payment of up to £6,000 (depending on your teaching hours and other criteria).
