Your Role & Responsibilities

As a core member of our English Department, you will deliver high-quality learning across KS3 and KS4. Your focus will be on:

  •  Instructional Excellence: Planning and delivering engaging lessons that ensure student progression and curiosity.
  •  Assessment for Learning: Using data effectively to track student progress, including those with SEN or Gifted & Talented designations.
  •  Environment: Maintaining a purposeful, orderly, and inspiring classroom.
  •  Collaboration: Contributing to the development of Schemes of Learning and participating in school-wide initiatives.
  •  Holistic Contribution: Acting as a Form Tutor and supporting our extra-curricular programmes.
