About the Role

Henley Business School is seeking a distinguished Associate Professor in Coaching & Organisational Behaviour to join our Leadership, Organisations, Behaviour & Reputation (LOB&R) department. This is a full-time, permanent academic position at one of the UK’s leading business schools, offering a stimulating environment to advance your career in research, teaching, and thought leadership.

You will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative postgraduate and executive education programmes, mentoring students, and contributing to the strategic growth of Henley’s globally recognized academic portfolio. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching on postgraduate (MBA, MSc) and executive education programmes using facilitative and collaborative approaches.
  • Contribute to the development, design, and innovation of curriculum in coaching and organisational behaviour.
  • Undertake impactful research with a strong international profile, publishing in leading peer-reviewed journals.
  • Supervise postgraduate students and support the professional development of early-career academics.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, students, and external stakeholders, fostering a culture of engagement, inclusivity, and academic excellence.
  • Work autonomously while actively contributing to the collegial and strategic objectives of the department and school.

About You

You will be an accomplished academic with:

  • Proven teaching experience on postgraduate programmes (MBA/MSc) and ideally executive education.
  • Expertise in collaborative and facilitative teaching methods that engage diverse cohorts.
  • A strong research record demonstrating international recognition in coaching, organisational behaviour, or related fields.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and connect with highly motivated students.
  • The capacity to operate independently while valuing teamwork and contributing to departmental objectives.
