The Team You’ll Be Joining
This is a multi-vet practice supported by a highly capable and engaged nursing and client care team, including:
- Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs)
- A Student Veterinary Nurse
- A Patient Care Assistant
- Client Care Assistants
Nurses play an active role in patient care and are empowered to run clinics, perform Schedule 3 procedures, assist with surgeries (including dental work), and contribute fully to daily case management. The practice regularly receives outstanding feedback from both clients and visiting locums for its organisation, teamwork, and atmosphere.
Facilities Designed for Quality Care
The practice is modern, bright, and well-equipped, supporting efficient workflows and excellent clinical outcomes. Facilities include:
- Two dedicated consulting rooms
- A clean, well-organised theatre
- In-house laboratory (biochemistry, haematology, urinalysis, microscopy)
- X-ray suite with ultrasound
- Large prep room with dental area and overhead lighting
- Otoscopes in consult and prep areas
- Separate dog and cat wards with sound separation and glass-fronted kennels
- Independent climate control in all wards
- A large enclosed garden for staff breaks
The Role
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), though part-time arrangements will be considered for the right candidate.
The caseload offers a balanced mix of consultations and surgery, ideal for a vet who enjoys variety and building long-term client relationships. The Branch Partner has a particular interest in soft tissue surgery, regularly undertaking advanced procedures such as BOAS and TECA, providing excellent learning and collaboration opportunities.
