- Liaise with academic colleagues, professional services staff, and external partners to clarify contractual terms and agree next steps
- Balance multiple projects simultaneously, working to agreed deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of contract management processes as new systems and services are introduced
- Support the University’s broader mission by ensuring contracts align with institutional policies, strategy, and charitable objectives
About You
You will bring:
- Proven experience in contract drafting and review, ideally within higher education, the public sector, or a commercial research environment
- A sound understanding of contract law principles
- The ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure, both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, with the confidence to explain contractual matters clearly to non-specialists
- A proactive and positive approach, with a genuine desire to contribute to departmental and organisational success
