Join Our Team: Social Workers and Senior Social Workers in Children’s Services
- Locations: Across Gloucestershire, including Gloucester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Stroud, Cirencester, and the Forest of Dean
- Positions Available: Social Worker and Senior Social Worker (Children and Families Teams)
- Salary Range: £39,152–£47,181 per year (depending on experience and level)
- Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week), with options for part-time or job share
- Contract: Permanent

Our teams are built for support and balance: each includes a Team Manager, Advanced Practitioner, four Social Workers, and a Newly Qualified Social Worker, helping keep caseloads manageable. - Salary: £39,152–£40,777 for Social Workers; £41,771–£47,181 for Senior Social Workers (based on experience)

About the Role
You’ll play a key part in providing high-quality support and protection for children and families in need. By fostering strong relationships with colleagues and partners, you’ll help deliver the best possible outcomes for Gloucestershire’s young people.
What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Registration with Social Work England (or Wales)
- A recognised Social Work qualification
- Completion of ASYE (if qualified after 2012)
- A full driving licence and willingness to travel
- Enhanced DBS clearance (for adults and children)
