About the Role

Dowty Propeller is seeking a skilled Blade Operator to join our manufacturing team, playing a key role in the production, repair, and overhaul of high-quality composite propeller blades. The successful candidate will work on either a permanent shift or rotating shift pattern, executing manual processes with a strong focus on precision, safety, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

As a Blade Operator, you will be responsible for:

  • Composite Bonding: Performing bonding processes with attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
  • Polyurethane Coating & Finishing: Spraying, painting, and finishing blades to the required specifications.
  • Repairs & Overhaul: Undertaking repair work to ensure propeller blades meet operational standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities to enhance processes, efficiency, and product quality.
  • Quality, Health & Safety: Monitoring and taking accountability for quality, environmental compliance, and workplace safety.
