Role Overview
We are seeking an Associate Professor (Teaching) focused on societal impact — an exciting leadership role that puts influence and real-world contribution at the heart of business education.
In this role you will:
- Take strategic leadership in defining and embedding societal impact across teaching, engagement, and academic initiatives.
- Coordinate and champion the School’s activities related to social impact, locally and internationally.
- Lead and design initiatives that deepen the School’s contribution to community, policy, and practice.
- Support academic activities such as dissertation supervision, personal tutoring, and citizenship roles within the School and UCL.
- This is a teaching/education track role (distinct from research-focused academic posts), ideal for candidates passionate about shaping programs and experiences that matter.
What We Are Looking For
You will have:
- A PhD (or equivalent) in business, management, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrable leadership experience in societal impact — ideally within a business school or comparable environment.
- A strong record of high-quality teaching across diverse student groups, supported by excellent evaluations.
- A genuine commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, and the ability to forge supportive and collaborative relationships.
