Indiana University (IU) Health Physicians is seeking a dedicated and skilled Gastroenterologist to join a high-performing, collegial team in the rapidly growing community of Fishers, IN. This opportunity offers a distinctive blend of outpatient endoscopy work, inpatient consults, and structured time off, giving you space to thrive both professionally and personally. Candidates interested in academic work will also find opportunities for faculty appointment within IU’s nationally recognized Digestive & Liver Disorders Division.

A Balanced, Predictable Schedule
This position features a unique rotating structure that supports both patient care and physician well-being:
- 33% outpatient procedures
- 34% inpatient medicine (with APP support)
- 37% OFF
Three-Week Rhythm:
- Week 1: Five full days dedicated exclusively to endoscopic procedures
- Week 2: Seven days of inpatient gastroenterology service
- Week 3: One full week OFF every cycle
You can expect to perform 24–52 procedures per week, serving as part of a referral center known for successfully completing colonoscopies and complex cases that were unsuccessful elsewhere.
Who We’re Looking For
- Completed Gastroenterology Fellowship
- Fellowship-trained or experienced physicians (no new grads)
- American Board Certified
- H1B waiver applicants are welcome
