About the Role
As a key member of a multidisciplinary team, you will:
- Assess patients’ care needs and design appropriate care plans.
- Deliver all relevant forms of nursing care autonomously no direct supervision required.
- Supervise, and where needed, teach registered/unregistered staff and student nurses.
- After two years post‑registration, you may take on greater responsibility leading/co‑ordinating nursing staff, promoting best practices, and in absence of senior staff providing leadership for the ward or department.
- Duties will vary depending on ward/department and patient dependency levels.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to work on your own initiative.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and listening skills.
- Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team.
- Good time‑management skills and basic IT competency.

- Contract type: Staffbank — zero‑hour contract
- Location: Across various sites under NHS Lanarkshire
