Role Overview

As a Maintenance Services Representative, you will:

  • Aircraft & IFE System Maintenance
  • Perform line and preventive maintenance on Panasonic Avionics IFE systems according to UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations.
  • Conduct diagnostic testing (manual and automated), troubleshoot electronic failures, and replace defective components.
  • Ensure all repairs and modifications comply with regulatory standards.

Customer & Operational Support

  • Interface directly with airline customers, documenting repairs and system performance.
  • Assist in spare parts management and inventory tracking.
  • Maintain clear communication with supervisors and management regarding work status, challenges, and performance metrics.

Safety & Compliance

  • Adhere strictly to health, safety, and security protocols while operating on airport premises.
  • Follow all company, aviation, and governmental procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Licenses: Valid A, B1, or B2 aircraft license with type ratings on A380, A350, A330, A320, 787, 777, 767.
  • Experience: Knowledge of electrical mechanics and prior experience in commercial aviation, military service, or technical school. IFE or avionics experience is advantageous but not required.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work on ladders or platforms, and tolerate prolonged periods of standing, bending, or sitting.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, strong communication skills, ability to work in varying weather conditions.
  • Driver License: Must hold a valid UK driver’s license.
  • Shift Work & Travel: Available for 12-hour shifts (4 days on, 4 days off) and travel up to 40% across the UK and EMEA.
