Position Overview

Providence Medical Group – Walla Walla is seeking a dedicated Nocturnist to provide inpatient care in a supportive, collaborative, and patient-focused environment. This role involves managing ICU patients, including ventilated cases, with the support of tele-critical care services. The position offers 14-night shifts on / 14-night shifts off, providing a consistent schedule and a healthy work-life balance in a welcoming community.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care with a focus on ICU and ventilated patients.
• Participate in a shift-based schedule (potential to flex as needed).
• Collaborate with a dedicated, collegial hospitalist team and supportive nursing and therapy staff.
• Utilize tele-critical care support as needed for complex cases.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and ensure patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Internal Medicine trained, board-eligible or board-certified.
• Recent ICU experience with ventilator management (within last 2 years).
• Comfortable managing critically ill patients in an open ICU setting.
• Community hospital experience is preferred but not required.
• New graduates with strong ICU experience in residency are encouraged to apply.
• J1 and H1B visa candidates welcome, with visa support available.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual Salary: $295,021 – $377,352 (may include productivity, quality incentives, and additional shift pay).
• CME Allowance: $5,500 per year.
