- Provide expert guidance to senior staff, decision-makers, and panel members to ensure fair, robust, and legally compliant case outcomes.
- Clerk Misconduct Panels, ensuring full procedural integrity and comprehensive record-keeping.
- Manage correspondence with the OIA, ensuring that institutional responses accurately reflect sector best practice and align with regulatory expectations.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of casework procedures, training resources, and operational processes.
- Build strong working relationships with academic and professional services colleagues, ensuring a collaborative and student-centred approach.
- Promote consistency, transparency, and accessibility across all casework activities, reducing institutional risk and supporting positive student experiences.
- Stay informed of national developments in student conduct, complaints resolution, and safeguarding.
About You

- Strong emotional resilience and a calm, objective approach when handling sensitive or distressing material.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver clear, evidence-based advice.
- Confidence in managing a varied workload and providing occasional support to colleagues.
- A commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion in every aspect of work.
- Ideally, experience within the Higher Education sector or criminal justice system.
