About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate NMC-registered Nurse to join our care home team in Ayr. This is an opportunity to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents, while also receiving Tier 2 sponsorship for qualified candidates looking to switch employers in the UK.

Candidates must be currently based in the UK, actively working in a nursing home, and hold a valid Health & Care Visa.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional nursing care according to individualized care plans.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely and accurately.
  • Maintain meticulous records of vital signs, assessments, and treatments.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement holistic care plans.
  • Conduct regular assessments to monitor residents’ physical and mental well-being.
  • Maintain a safe, hygienic, and infection-controlled environment.
  • Provide clear and effective communication with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Mentor and guide junior staff, fostering professional development.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Active NMC registration with a valid PIN.
  • Previous experience in care homes or equivalent healthcare settings.
  • Strong clinical skills in line with current nursing best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to a compassionate, patient-centred approach.
  • Eligible for Tier 2 sponsorship in the UK.
