Role Overview
As Product Manager, you’ll lead cross-functional teams to address obsolescence challenges, manage OE programmes, and ensure our products continue to meet customer, financial, and regulatory expectations throughout their lifecycle.
You’ll be responsible for programme delivery from conception to completion — setting clear objectives, managing risks, driving schedule adherence, and ensuring commercial and technical success. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to deliver innovative solutions and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple projects and programmes of varying size and complexity, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and budget.
Maintain full programme leadership and P&L accountability for assigned OE programmes.
Manage customer relationships, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and driving customer satisfaction metrics (OTD, Quality).
Oversee product lifecycle management, ensuring obsolescence, cost reduction, and reliability improvements are effectively implemented.
Apply rigorous project management principles: define scope, manage change control, track risks and opportunities, and maintain comprehensive budgets and forecasts.
Organise and lead project reviews and Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) to ensure robust technical, financial, and commercial governance.
Drive Kaizen and Lean initiatives to continuously improve efficiency and performance.
Manage bids, proposals, and pricing, identifying opportunities to increase growth and margin.
Contribute to the development of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and demand management processes.
Ensure accurate and timely sales forecasting through established financial rhythms.
Identify, escalate, and resolve issues impacting quality, delivery, safety, or customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Degree-level education (or equivalent experience) in Business, Engineering, Law, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience leading product or programme management activities within a matrix organisation, ideally in the Aviation or Aerospace industry.
- Strong project management skills, including scope, schedule, and resource management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within defined cost, quality, and time constraints.
- Analytical, results-driven, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and business acumen.
- Willingness to travel internationally (up to 10%).

- Project Management Professional (PMI) certification or equivalent preferred.
