About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Fellow to join an MRC-funded transdisciplinary research hub focused on decarbonising healthcare commissioning and delivery.
You will contribute to Sub-Theme 4: Digital and Remote Care Pathways, working within a team led by Professor Dimitra Petrakaki at the University of Sussex Business School, in collaboration with Professor Mahmood Bhutta at the Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS).
The project aims to identify, analyse, and evaluate sustainable innovations in digital healthcare pathways, exploring how these can help reduce the carbon footprint of healthcare systems and improve long-term sustainability.
About You
You will have, or be close to completing, a PhD in a field relevant to digital and remote healthcare pathways, or possess equivalent research experience in this area.
You will be capable of managing your own workload, working independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative research environment.
Experience in policy engagement, advocacy, or real-world impact activities related to healthcare or sustainability will be highly valued.
