Key Responsibilities
As a Lead Field Service Engineer, you will:
- Provide On-Site Technical Leadership – Serve as the primary technical representative for GE Aerospace, offering expert guidance on engine maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
- Enhance Fleet Reliability – Monitor engine performance, analyze reliability trends, and recommend proactive maintenance strategies to minimize disruptions.
- Drive Continuous Improvement – Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and operational enhancements.
- Support Maintenance Planning – Collaborate with airline stakeholders to develop long-term maintenance strategies that ensure fleet stability.
- Interpret Technical Documentation – Apply OEM manuals and engineering specifications to guide maintenance and operational decisions.
- Deliver Customer-Centric Solutions – Work closely with customers to resolve technical challenges, ensuring prompt and effective problem resolution.
- Utilize FLIGHT DECK Principles – Apply GE Aerospace’s proprietary methodologies to enhance reliability and performance.
- Generate Insightful Reports – Produce detailed analytics and performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
- Experience in aviation maintenance, MRO planning, or aircraft propulsion systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong customer relationships.
Desired:
- Technical expertise in aircraft engines or turbomachinery.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools to support maintenance recommendations.
- Project management experience with a focus on delivering results in dynamic environments.
- Flexibility to travel as needed to support customer operations and internal training.
