This role offers a real chance to join the leadership team for the Food Bio Systems Doctoral Training Partnership. Or DTP for short. It is funded by the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council. Known as BBSRC. And led by the University of Reading. The Food Biosystems DTP brings together a lively community of doctoral researchers and supervisors. Right now it supports more than 100 PhD students. Spread across seven partner universities.
You would be based in the Department of Food and Nutritional Sciences at the University of Reading. There you will handle a key part of the DTPs administrative management. Main duties cover day to day financial management. Plus student monitoring. And helping with the planning and delivery of training. Along with stakeholder engagement activities. You would take the lead on certain events too.

You will coordinate and help deliver training sessions. Events. And stakeholder engagement activities. You will work collaboratively with academic staff. Professional services. Postgraduate researchers. And external partners. You will ensure smooth administrative operations. And effective communication across the partnership.
About you
You will be highly organized. Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. You will have strong numeracy and finance skills. With experience in financial administration or management. You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Working effectively with colleagues. Students. And external stakeholders.
