The Role

You will join our Procurement & Supplier Management team, part of the Finance and Procurement Directorate, supporting the management of Jisc’s high-risk and strategic suppliers. The role focuses on ensuring effective supplier relationships, contract oversight, and delivering value for money across the organization.

This is a collaborative role where you will work with both internal colleagues and external suppliers to ensure smooth service delivery, compliance, and strong partnership outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the main point of contact for queries on assigned suppliers, contracts, and projects.

Lead supplier relationship management for framework and lower value/risk suppliers.

Organise and manage service review meetings, prepare and circulate papers, and record minutes and actions.

Maintain accurate contract records across all company systems.

Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Support the development of training materials and assist in delivering training to Jisc staff.

About You

Essential skills and experience:

Previous experience in a business environment.

Confident in using Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).

Highly organized with the ability to prioritise and work independently.

Effective problem-solving skills.
