The Role
Henley Business School is seeking a Student Recruitment Officer to support postgraduate taught programme recruitment across the UK, Europe, CIS, and the Americas. Working closely with a Recruitment Manager, you will play a vital role in helping the School meet its student intake targets.
This role focuses on attracting, engaging, and converting high-quality candidates for our postgraduate programmes. You will manage recruitment activities, coordinate events, oversee communications, and track the student pipeline, ensuring an excellent candidate experience from first contact to enrolment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery of recruitment strategies for postgraduate taught programmes.
Undertake recruitment activities, including events, outreach, and candidate engagement.
Coordinate and deliver communications to prospective students.
Track, monitor, and manage leads and applications through the recruitment pipeline.
Build and maintain effective relationships with prospective students, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Contribute to achieving the School’s enrolment targets through proactive conversion activities.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence in engaging diverse audiences.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong, lasting relationships.
A professional telephone manner and the ability to build rapport with prospective students.
Sales, negotiation, and influencing skills, ideally gained in recruitment or a service-focused environment.
Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work methodically.
Initiative and a proactive approach to problem solving.
Experience of using CRM systems effectively.
Previous experience in sales, recruitment, or a customer-focused role.
