About the role

We’re seeking an experienced Head Veterinary Surgeon to lead our friendly, expanding team at Scunthorpe Vets for Pets. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role where your expertise will be valued, your input welcomed, and your career supported.

The Role

Flexible full-time or part-time position

Saturdays on a shared rota (no Sundays, no OOH, no on-call)

Clinical and strategic leadership, including mentoring colleagues and contributing to practice growth

Routine surgical and medical case management, with occasional sole charge

Interest in surgery is a plus, but not essential

The Team

You’ll be leading a dedicated, supportive group including:

1 Vet (studying for a certificate in advanced surgery)

3 RVNs, 1 SVN, 1 VCA

2 Client Care Advisors

1 Practice Manager
