The Role
The Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU) at the University of Sussex Business School is recruiting a Research Fellow to join a team working with Dr Ohid Yaqub on an ESRC-funded Met science project.
The main responsibility of the postholder will be to contribute to the production of high-quality research publications arising from the project.
About You
We are looking for a motivated researcher with:
A completed PhD (viva passed, with no corrections outstanding).
Strong oral and written English communication skills.
At least one publication in a leading, widely read journal (e.g. Research Policy).
Experience with categorization problems and algorithmic classification.
Proven ability to use data science, statistical, and/or bibliometric methods.
A strong interest in science and technology policy, particularly the ‘science of science’.
Experience working with sensitive and/or confidential datasets.
