About the Role

The School of Psychology is seeking a full-time Lecturer (Education & Scholarship) with expertise in clinical psychology and mental health. This fixed-term role covers teaching and assessment responsibilities for key modules, including:

Level 7 modules: Child Clinical Psychology and the Systematic Literature Review Dissertation.

Level 5 module: Convening, assessment, and some teaching on Clinical Psychology and Mental Health.

You will also supervise MSc students completing dissertations on the Foundations of Clinical Psychology and Mental Health course. Existing teaching materials will be available for you to use and adapt.

Responsibilities include:

Delivering engaging and high-quality teaching.

Supporting and advising students.

Leading assessment, marking, and providing constructive feedback.

Supervising postgraduate dissertation students.

About You

This role is ideal for someone who has recently completed, or is close to completing, a PhD in clinical psychology, mental health, or a related discipline, and is keen to pursue a career in higher education.

You should bring:

Strong subject knowledge in clinical psychology and mental health.

Experience (or potential) in teaching and student support.

A collaborative and supportive approach to working within an academic team.
