About the Role
We are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Assistant to join the newly funded BrightSpark Project, focusing on the modelling of charge release and its effects on cloud microphysics.
BrightSpark, funded by ARIA, investigates how charge release could increase the reflectivity of marine stratus clouds, helping to cool the climate. This work has the potential to contribute to innovative solutions for mitigating harmful levels of climate change and supporting global communities.
About You
You will have:
A PhD in Atmospheric Science (or a closely related field), or you will shortly be awarded one.
A proven track record in atmospheric science modelling.
Strong knowledge of cloud microphysics and/or aerosol science.
