Role Overview
The University of Huddersfield is seeking a Lecturer in Organic Chemistry to join the School of Applied Sciences. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching across a broad range of Organic Chemistry courses, supporting undergraduate and foundation-level students. There may also be opportunities to engage in research within Organic Chemistry, ideally linking with the department’s multidisciplinary collaborations.
You will join a well-equipped and well-funded department that fosters collaboration between Chemical, Biological, Pharmaceutical, Forensic, and Analytical Sciences.
Candidate Requirements
A degree and PhD in Organic Chemistry or a relevant field.
Experience teaching at undergraduate and foundation levels.
Postdoctoral or industrial experience is desirable but not essential.
Commitment to high-quality teaching and student engagement.
