The Role
We are seeking a Lecturer in Social Policy and Public Administration to join the School of Applied Social and Policy Sciences.
The postholder will:
Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including BSc (Hons) Social Policy, BSc (Hons) Health and Social Care Policy, and the Masters in Public Administration.
Develop, deliver, and assess teaching across a range of modules within the discipline.
Support programme development, student engagement, and research activity in line with the School’s objectives.
Help promote and market the programmes to prospective students.
A 12-month waiting list may be created for similar roles within the Department/Faculty, with potential extension across the University.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
An honours or higher degree in Social or Public Policy, or a closely related discipline.
A PhD in Social/Public Policy (or related field) or a substantial research track record.
Demonstrable experience teaching and assessing Social Policy, Health and Social Care Policy, or Public Administration at university level.
