About the Role
Oriel College is seeking a full-time IT Officer to support and enhance the College’s information and communication technology services. The potholder will be responsible for maintaining secure, reliable, and future-ready networks, systems, and applications, ensuring they meet the needs of staff, students, and other users.
This role requires both strong technical expertise and excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering a friendly, professional, and customer-centered IT service.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and maintain the College’s IT infrastructure, networks, and applications.
Provide technical support and advice to staff, students, and Fellows.
Ensure IT systems are secure, efficient, and up to date with best practices.
Contribute to IT projects and initiatives that enhance the College’s digital environment.
Maintain accurate documentation and support IT governance processes.

Have prior experience working in a technical IT environment.
