We’re looking for a Business Banking Manager to join our Oxford Work Café branch. This is an exciting opportunity to support business customers through our innovative Work Café model, combining financial expertise with a collaborative community space.
In this role, you’ll engage with customers to understand their business needs and provide tailored banking solutions. You’ll also help to build a thriving local business community by running events both in-branch and virtually, supporting growth through Santander’s award-winning financial and non-financial services.
You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of Work Cafés—supporting customers, building strong relationships, and making a difference in the moments that matter.
What You’ll Be Doing
Identifying customers’ business needs and presenting the right banking solutions.
Delivering excellent service to help businesses grow and prosper.
Building loyalty with existing customers while attracting new ones, including via third-party referrals.
Promoting the Santander Breakthrough framework to support communities with skills, knowledge, and innovation.
Collaborating with colleagues across Business Banking and the wider bank to continually improve customer service.
What You’ll Bring
Previous customer-facing retail banking experience.
A proven ability to provide excellent customer service, including support for vulnerable customers in-person and over the phone.
It Would Be Great If You Also Have
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Confidence in identifying opportunities to support customers.
Ownership of the customer experience across all channels, including digital.
Knowledge of business banking and wider financial services.

This role is based at the Oxford Work Café branch.
