About the Water Utilities Division
Our Water Utilities Division is at the forefront of tackling water and wastewater challenges in the UK and Ireland. We design and deliver solutions that:
Ensure safe water supplies for future generations
Prevent urban flooding
Improve rivers and coastal environments

The Role
Due to continued growth and the demands of AMP8 (2025–2030), we are seeking experienced EICA Engineers to join our teams in Cardiff, Newport, Birmingham, or Bristol.
You will work on varied and technically challenging projects, providing specialist input and supporting delivery across a range of clients.
Key Responsibilities
Design of electrical power distribution systems
Control system design and strategy writing
Renewable and backup power systems specification
Plant layout and cable installation design
Instrumentation selection
Lightning protection assessments
Factory and site acceptance testing
Collaborating with clients, contractors, and colleagues to ensure successful project delivery

Candidate Profile
Essential:
HND or higher in electrical, electronic, control engineering, or related discipline
Experience in electrical and/or control engineering design/consultancy
Strong communication skills and ability to work across disciplines
Ability to manage design delivery and project tasks
Leadership and team motivation skills
Commitment to professional development and awareness of emerging technologies
Desirable:
Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it)
Experience in the UK water or wastewater sector
Knowledge of pipeline hydraulics and treatment processes
Experience in the UK water sector is beneficial but not essential.
