About the Role
Royal Holloway, University of London, is seeking a highly skilled and strategic professional to join the Finance Department as Head of Student Fees.
In this pivotal role, you will:
Lead the Student Fees Office, managing the complete lifecycle of student income, including tuition, accommodation, and related charges.
Ensure accurate billing, effective income collection, and delivery of excellent customer service.
Develop and implement strong policies, processes, and controls to support financial sustainability.
Drive process improvement initiatives, enhance systems, and ensure compliance with sector regulations and University policies.
Provide high-quality management information and analysis to senior leadership.
Manage relationships with internal teams and external partners to support strategic decision-making.
About You
We are looking for a strong leader with:
Proven experience in income management, financial operations, and process improvement in a complex organisation.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to balance operational management with strategic planning.
Knowledge of the UK Higher Education sector (desirable).
Experience with finance or student records systems such as Agresso or Banner (desirable).

Additional Information
This role is not eligible for hybrid working; the postholder will be based on campus.
