About the Role

We are seeking a Biosciences Teaching Technician to join our small, supportive technical team. In this role, you will provide essential support for teaching laboratories and practical classes across the School of Life Sciences.

Your responsibilities will include:

Maintaining and organizing teaching laboratory spaces.

Preparing resources, equipment, and apparatus needed for practical sessions.

Preparing non-commercially available reagents.

Ensuring teaching activities run safely and smoothly.

Supporting administrative and organizational tasks related to laboratory teaching.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a vital part in ensuring the successful delivery of our biosciences teaching.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and reliable team player with:

Experience of working in a laboratory or technical environment.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage your workload effectively.

A high level of accuracy, precision, and attention to detail.

The ability to meet deadlines and support multiple teaching activities.
