About the Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Shift Manager to join our Argos store in Craigavon. As a Shift Manager, you’ll play a vital role in leading daily operations, inspiring your team, and delivering excellent customer service. You’ll support the Store Manager in ensuring smooth and efficient performance across the store—whether it’s overseeing deliveries, managing the warehouse, or helping on the shop floor.

In the absence of the Store Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the store, ensuring that tasks are delegated effectively, service standards remain high, and team members are supported and engaged.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage store operations during your shift, ensuring efficient delivery of tasks and outstanding customer experiences

Support and coach team members to help them grow in confidence, capability, and performance

Organise and oversee stock handling, deliveries, and storage to maintain accurate inventory and a tidy warehouse

Ensure the store remains compliant with health & safety and company policies

Drive sales through excellent product knowledge and commercial awareness

Monitor and achieve performance targets (KPIs) to support the store’s profitability

Step up in the Store Manager’s absence and lead the team effectively

What We’re Looking For

Experience in managing, organising, or planning within a fast-paced retail or operational environment

Confident leadership and communication skills with the ability to provide in-the-moment coaching

Strong understanding of customer service and commercial operations

Ability to work towards targets and take accountability for delivering results

A proactive, positive mindset with a willingness to learn and support others’ development
