Advanced Clinical Practitioner – Emergency Care

Are you an experienced autonomous practitioner with expertise across the four pillars of advanced practice—clinical care, education, leadership, and research? We are seeking a highly motivated Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join our Emergency Care team, where you’ll play a vital role in delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care.

What You’ll Do

As part of our Emergency Care service, you will:

  • Assess, treat, and manage a wide and undifferentiated caseload of patients requiring unscheduled care.
  • Work collaboratively with medical staff, ACP colleagues, and the Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) service, which provides care for minor illnesses and injuries 12 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Support our 24/7 clinical service, rotating across day and evening shifts.
  • Receive clinical supervision, teaching, and training from the Emergency Department/Urgent and Emergency Care Division at King’s Mill Hospital.
  • Rotate between Newark UCC and KMH ED sites to maintain and further develop your advanced clinical skills.
