About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to join the new Department of Digitalization, Marketing and Entrepreneurship (DME) at Henley Business School, one of the world’s leading business schools.

We are seeking a Professor of Entrepreneurship who is an internationally recognized researcher, an experienced and inspiring educator, and a collaborative leader. You will play a key role in helping to shape and develop our new department, contributing significantly to its continued growth and success.

You will work closely with the Henley Centre for Entrepreneurship, delivering high-quality research and impactful teaching at undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive education levels.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching:

Lead and contribute to teaching on undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive education programmes.

Deliver lectures, seminars, tutorials, and supervise student projects and dissertations.

Design, lead, and update entrepreneurship curriculum and learning materials.

Provide academic support through personal tutoring and supervision.

Participate in assessment, feedback, and student engagement initiatives.

Research:

Produce internationally recognised, high-quality research outputs (3* and 4* in REF terms).

Maintain a strong pipeline of impactful publications in leading academic journals.

Secure and manage research funding from competitive sources.

Supervise doctoral students and contribute to a thriving research culture.

Demonstrate evidence of international research impact.

Leadership and Service:

Contribute to departmental and school-wide leadership and strategy.

Participate in departmental meetings, seminars, and initiatives.

Support the wider development of Henley Business School and the University.

Engage with industry and policy stakeholders to enhance the impact of your work.

About You

We are looking for someone with the following profile:

PhD (or equivalent terminal degree) in Entrepreneurship or a related discipline.

An outstanding record of academic research, with multiple publications in top-tier journals and a strong pipeline.

A proven track record of international research influence and collaboration.

Specialist expertise in entrepreneurship theory and practice, enabling leadership in curriculum development and cutting-edge research.

Demonstrated excellence in teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Experience in research leadership, including supervising PhD students and managing research projects.

A proactive and collegial approach to academic leadership and departmental service.
