About the Role
Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS) is seeking a proactive and experienced manager to lead the Phase 1 Curriculum and Assessment team. This fixed-term role is for up to one year and plays a key part in supporting the delivery of Years 1 and 2 of the undergraduate medical curriculum.
The post-holder will oversee all administrative functions related to Phase 1, including timetabling, student support, and assessments such as Knowledge Tests. You will manage a team of professional services staff and work closely with academic and clinical leaders to ensure the smooth and effective operation of teaching and assessment.
Reporting to the Medical Education Manager, you will also contribute to curriculum development, manage quality assurance processes, liaise with external examiners and regulatory bodies, and help enhance systems and processes that support the student experience.
