About the Role

ConnectHEOR is expanding rapidly, and we are seeking a highly motivated Analyst or Senior Analyst to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment on a range of impactful health economics projects.

You will lead or support the development of economic models such as cost-effectiveness, budget impact, and cost-consequence models to support health technology assessments (HTAs) and market access strategies across different geographies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead or contribute to health economic model development from the ground up – including literature research, model design, input sourcing, and implementation.

Adapt existing models for different countries and health systems for HTA submissions and publications.

Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Support client relationship development and contribute to business growth through proposal writing and project management.

Contribute to scientific publications and present findings at industry conferences.

Develop internal best practice documents and guidelines.

Mentor or manage junior team members, depending on your level.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

For Analyst:

Entry-level candidates with relevant academic background are welcome to apply.

For Senior Analyst:

Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in health economic modeling within consultancy or the pharmaceutical industry.

Required for All Applicants:

Advanced degree (PhD, MSc, MTech, MA) in Health Economics, Economics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Operational Research, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields.

Strong experience developing models from scratch and adapting them for different markets.

Familiarity with budget impact, cost-effectiveness (early and late-stage), and cost-consequence models.

Proficiency in Excel modeling, including VBA.

Understanding of model types: decision trees, Markov, partitioned survival, and multi-state models.

Knowledge of HTA and reimbursement processes.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience with survival analysis, especially in oncology.

Familiarity with systematic and targeted literature reviews.

Strong presentation skills and the ability to explain complex analyses to stakeholders.

Competent in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and handle multiple projects.

Desirable Skills

Programming experience in R, Python, or other statistical software.

Hands-on survival or real-world data analysis.

Experience with discrete event simulation, infectious disease, or capacity models.

Involvement in HTA submissions, especially writing the health economics sections.

Experience in meta-analysis or network meta-analysis.

Prior publications in peer-reviewed journals or presentations at scientific conferences.

Understanding of global market access and reimbursement challenges.

Experience facilitating workshops or conducting primary research with key opinion leaders (KOLs).

Business development or marketing experience.
