Role Overview

London Design & Engineering UTC (LDE UTC) is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and innovative Aviation Teacher to join its dynamic technical education team. This is a unique opportunity to teach in a STEM-specialist UTC with access to industry-standard facilities and equipment.

You will teach students aged 14–19 in aviation-related subjects, with the opportunity to shape an engaging curriculum that prepares learners for careers in aviation, engineering, and related sectors. The role is open to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators.

About LDE UTC

LDE UTC is a thriving 14–19 University Technical College that specializes in Engineering, Digital Technologies, Civil Engineering, and Aviation. Opened in 2016 and now oversubscribed, LDE UTC provides a unique technical education experience shaped in partnership with major industry leaders including Skanska, Thames Water, LEGO, and the University of East London (UEL).

Our modern, dockside campus boasts state-of-the-art facilities, giving students hands-on access to high-tech tools and real-life learning experiences. Students study GCSEs, A-levels, technical qualifications, and apprenticeships, preparing for university, careers, or higher-level apprenticeships.
