About the Role

Abdulla Homes Housing Association is looking for a Tenancy Sustainment Officer to support vulnerable individuals and households in Cheshire East North. This is a rewarding opportunity to help people live independently and successfully maintain their tenancies.

As a Tenancy Sustainment Officer, you will provide tailored support and practical advice to service users, ensuring they meet the terms of their tenancy while promoting health, safety, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct advice and support to help tenants maintain their tenancies and live independently.

  • Conduct regular property inspections, documenting inventory conditions, safety concerns, and environmental hazards.

  • Escalate any issues related to property conditions or tenant wellbeing to appropriate teams or external agencies.

  • Monitor and maintain contact with vulnerable or ‘at risk’ individuals, adhering to safeguarding policies.

  • Contribute to action planning and risk management for service users.

  • Work in line with organizational policies and procedures to ensure service quality and safety.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally in housing, social care, or support services.

  • Knowledge of tenancy law, safeguarding practices, and housing management is highly desirable.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team.

  • Commitment to upholding dignity, respect, and equality for all service users.
