About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our Physical Health Rehabilitation Psychology (PHRP) team. This service is part of the wider Department of Physical Health Psychology, offering specialist psychological support to individuals with long-term physical health conditions (LTCs) and associated mental health difficulties across Cambrai.
As a Band 7 Clinical Psychologist, you will deliver psychological therapy and assessment within an established biopsychosocial care model, working across both primary and secondary care, including liaison with acute services.
Clinical Focus Areas May Include:

Long-term conditions (e.g. COPD, diabetes, coronary disease)

Cancer and palliative care

Maternal mental health

Neurological conditions
-
Chronic pain and persistent physical symptoms
Key Responsibilities

Deliver highly specialized psychological assessments and interventions to patients with physical health and psychological needs.

Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) across care settings.

Liaise with other professionals to ensure coordinated care.

Provide clinical supervision to other psychological practitioners.

Contribute to audit, service evaluation, and research projects.

Promote integrated, compassionate, and values-based care in line with Trust priorities.

Work independently within established protocols, referring to management only when necessary.

What We’re Looking For

HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist (or eligible for registration).

Experience or interest in physical health psychology and working with complex needs.

Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within MDTs.

Skills in supervision, teaching, or service development are desirable.
