About the Role
We are seeking a Lead Psychologist to join a specialist mental health service in Oldham, providing care and treatment for men who are deaf and have complex communication needs. This is a leadership position that offers the opportunity to shape and enhance psychological services within a dedicated multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver individual and group psychological therapies using models such as CBT, DBT, and EMDR.

Carry out comprehensive assessments, including cognitive and diagnostic evaluations, risk assessments, and formulation of psychological reports.

Provide clinical supervision, guidance, and leadership to a team of psychologists and psychological assistants.

Actively participate in MDT (multidisciplinary team) discussions and contribute to service governance processes.

Support the development and implementation of new clinical practices and service improvement strategies.\
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:

HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.

Doctorate in Clinical, Counselling, or Forensic Psychology (or equivalent).

Eligibility for BPS Chartership.

Proven experience working with individuals who have complex mental health needs and a history of trauma.

Strong skills in psychological assessment, formulation, and evidence-based intervention delivery.
