We’re looking for enthusiastic, caring individuals to join our dedicated team at Christian Head Residential Home. Whether you have prior experience or a natural flair for cooking, this is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents.
As a Cook, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and serving nutritious meals that cater to various dietary needs. You will help maintain the daily operation of the kitchen, uphold high standards of hygiene, complete necessary paperwork, and ensure compliance with infection control and Environmental Health procedures.
We seek individuals who are hardworking, reliable, and passionate about making a real difference. You don’t need previous experience in a residential setting, just a compassionate attitude and a willingness to embrace a new challenge.
About Christian Head Residential Home
Christian Head offers a safe, homely environment for up to 28 residents, many of whom have complex healthcare needs. Located in the heart of Kirkby Stephen, we provide residential and respite care for elderly, frail, and dementia-affected individuals. We aim to offer the best possible care, ensuring every resident feels valued and respected.
