JOB SUMMARY

Pay: £11.90 per hour (with an overtime rate of £12.40).

Hours: 48 per week (12-hour shifts).

We specialise in providing person-centred care for persons with forensic mental health backgrounds, challenging behaviour, learning challenges, and autism, allowing them to contribute meaningfully to their community. You will be accountable for providing exceptional care to the people we help. Our flagship supported living service on Reigate Road is an 8-minute walk from Ewell East train station and includes on-site parking.

Requirements

  • Experience working with people with mental health, autism, challenging behaviours, and learning disabilities.
  • People who have used restraints or would be comfortable being trained to use them.
  • Can operate alone with confidence and as part of a larger team.
  • Strong ideals and person-centred approach.
  • To meet the service’s needs, employees must be able to work shifts.
  • People who are enthusiastic, resilient, energetic, and proactive.
  • Individuals who can go bicycling, fishing, swimming, and participate in physical exercise with the individual they will be helping
  • To deliver the best person-centred assistance, you must be enthusiastic and imaginative.

Desirable

  • Experience working in forensic mental health, assisted living, or residential settings.
  • Can evidence an NVQ qualification in social care or a Care Certificate? Training can be supplied.
  • Have knowledge and awareness of diabetes or worked with individuals with diabetes. Training can be offered.
  • Have a valid driver’s licence.
  • Live within a 30-minute commute or drive to Epsom.
