Right now, we’re working toward ambitious goals for 2025, and we’re looking for people who want to be part of something that truly matters.
We’re inviting qualified Social Workers to join our City-Wide Mental Health Assessment and Care Delivery teams, helping adults navigate complex mental health needs with compassion, skill, and professionalism. Whether your preference is hospital-based or community-based work, we’d love to hear from you—please indicate your preference in your application.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Social Worker in our mental health services, you’ll work alongside health partners across multiple city locations, offering direct support and interventions to adults experiencing mental health challenges. You’ll play a central role in assessing needs under the Care Act, coordinating Section 117 aftercare plans, and, where necessary, leading Section 42 safeguarding enquiries.
You’ll adopt a strengths-based approach, co-designing support plans with individuals to foster independence, resilience, and long-term sustainability. Your work will focus on promoting inclusivity and collaboration—helping people not only get the support they need, but also build confidence and control over their own lives.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for dedicated professionals who are passionate about mental health and person-centred care. You should bring:
- A recognised Social Work qualification and current Social Work England registration
- A clear understanding of the Care Act, Mental Health Act, and safeguarding procedures
- Experience working with adults in mental health settings
- The ability to work effectively with partners across health and social care
- A collaborative and compassionate approach
