We are looking for a dedicated Lecturer in Science (Physics) to join our thriving and supportive team at Harrow College. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to teach across a variety of science programmes and help shape learners’ academic journeys in one of London’s leading further education colleges.
About the Role
You will be delivering engaging and high-quality teaching on a range of Science programmes including:
- A Level Physics
- BTEC Science
- GCSE Science
- Access to Higher Education
- T Levels
You’ll play a key role in supporting and motivating 16–18-year-old students, using creative and effective teaching strategies to inspire learning and academic success.
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in a Science-related subject (Physics preferred)
- Teaching experience up to Level 3 (e.g. A Level, T Levels, and/or BTEC)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to inclusive, learner-centred teaching approaches
Desirable:
A Level 5 teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE or equivalent)
