Job Summary:

We are seeking motivated and compassionate female domiciliary care professionals to join our Glasgow Clients team. The job entails providing high-quality personal care and support to customers in their homes.Candidates must have a valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal hygiene, such as bathing, clothing, and grooming.
  • Support for toileting and continence management.
  • Monitor health status and administer necessary medications.
  • Any changes in health should be reported to your supervisor or a healthcare professional.
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfers, use suitable equipment.
  • Accompany customers to appointments and social events.
  • Perform simple housekeeping activities including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Ensure that your home is safe and comfortable.
  • Companionship and discussion might help to reduce loneliness.
  • Active listening and encouragement can help to improve clients’ mental and emotional health.
  • Keep accurate records of the care delivered and any changes in the client’s condition.
  • Complete daily logs and report to your supervisor as needed.
  • Follow all applicable health and safety requirements and business rules.
  • Attend monthly training sessions and stay current on best practices in care.

Requirements:

  • Valid UK driver’s licence and access to a car.
  • Must have previous experience providing domiciliary care in the UK.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathic temperament.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, such as mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
