A Qualified Pharmacy Assistant Position with a Difference!
Our digital pharmacy staff works in a warehouse environment at our state-of-the-art distribution Healthcare Services Centre in Stoke. Our Qualified Pharmacy Assistant is a non-customer-facing role within the pharmacy, ideal for applicants who want to work behind the scenes and focus on specific activities that benefit our patients and customers.
What will you do?
As our Qualified Pharmacy Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient and customer care while actively ensuring the proper operation of our online pharmacy platform. Working as a team, you’ll help pharmacists and colleagues process patient and customer orders, handle questions, and provide great patient care and customer service.
Working Hours
Week 1, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m
Week 2, 11 a.m.-7 p.m.

Our digital pharmacy is a distant selling pharmacy, which means that patients engage with our customer service team and the technology that supports the services rather than physically entering the premises. Our digital pharmacy has the second highest number of patients in the UK nominated to a single pharmacy, distributing about 130,000 goods per month and rising!
Main responsibilities
- Online orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Working with chemists to ensure compliance with legislation and standards.
- Inventory management and stock level accuracy are critical.
- Providing assistance with order packaging and shipment.
- Maintaining the confidentiality and security of customer information.
The Ideal Candidate
What You’ll Need:
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is necessary.
- You already hold an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or an equivalent certificate.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and oral.
- Excellent customer service abilities combined with a cheerful and professional approach.
- You’ll be working in a warehouse/non-customer-facing area, therefore you’ll need strong teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
- Order processing requires meticulous attention to detail as well as accuracy.
- Familiarity with pharmacy software and internet platforms is beneficial, but we can train you.
