Job Description
We are an off-licence/convenience store located on a busy High Street, and we are looking for a Shop Supervisor to oversee daily operations and lead a team of customer service staff. You will collaborate closely with management to ensure smooth store operations, achieve sales targets, and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate customer service staff to ensure efficient store operations.
- Create and manage staff schedules to align with sales goals and maintain productivity.
- Work alongside management to address operational issues and improve store performance.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Assess staffing needs and make recommendations for adequate coverage.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to management on sales and staff performance.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and address customer concerns promptly.
Education & Experience:
- Previous retail experience is preferred but not essential.
- Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment and meet sales goals.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Minimum educational qualification of GCSEs, A-levels, or equivalent.
