Faithful+Gould is looking for an ambitious and respected project Manager with strong and proven relevant project delivery expertise to assist us in realising our ambitious growth objectives with our existing clients. The chosen candidate will be a key member of Scotland’s project management team, working closely with the UK programme management community. You will play an important role in expanding one of our priority sectors and service offerings.
Based in one of our Scotland offices, you will help to shape the programme management business strategy, work on major client accounts, drive innovation in service delivery, and foster a collaborative working environment with the rest of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Help to develop programmes and programme management offices.
- Manage work programmes in complex stakeholder situations.
- Stakeholder interaction is supported and occasionally led across the programme, including by senior members of the Clients Team.
- Help us reach or surpass the KPIs and SLAs we’ve set for our business.
- Assist the Programme Management lead in continuously enhancing our service delivery toolbox and developing best practices within the Programme community.
- Collaborate with other members of the Programme Team to prepare reports, understand the data, develop actions, and manage them until completion.
- Develop new methods, methodologies, and styles for data processing, conversion, and querying.
- Analyse and review information from various data sources to determine how alternative options may affect programme delivery.Inform clients and internal stakeholders about potential repercussions.
- Collaboration with various offices, service lines, and sectors within our company to deliver combined and innovative solutions that will improve our competitive edge in the Programme and Portfolio arena.
Requirements:
- Education must be at the undergraduate or master’s level. Preferably in a construction, real estate, or facility management related field, however this is not required.
- Experience with programme management or project management offices, ideally in the property, construction, or real estate industries.
- Understanding and awareness of project and programme components.
- Experience working in a project or programme context.
- Confident grasp of reporting tools, especially Power BI.
- Confident use of Microsoft Office and knowledge of role-related tools, such as Power Platform and Power Query.
- High level of proficiency in oral and writing communication, with a focus on detail.
