IT Support Role:
Fnality Services is searching for an IT Support Lead who can demonstrate competencies that allow them to successfully:
- Provide a robust and consistent IT support service within the Fnality ecosystem.
- Work collaboratively with the System Operations Team and IT Leadership to provide overall support and delivery for the IT infrastructure and technical estate.
- Work together with the Enterprise IT team to provide support and continuing development.
- Create and deliver reports to internal stakeholders.
- Balance quick response time to immediate technical concerns across the ecosystem, triaging them appropriately, with the necessity for systematic activities such as updates, frequent testing, and monitoring programmes.
- Play an important role in the ongoing system updates and improvements, including proof of concept for new tooling and equipment.
- Play a crucial role in strengthening IT security controls, improving procedures, and reducing enterprise vulnerabilities.
You will be accountable for:
- Managing an IT Support queue system, including initiatives to explore and resolve technical issues.
- Running IT Support processes, which include all applicable JML processes, to ensure proper technical onboarding and offboarding.
- Installation and configuration of computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Employees and internal stakeholders are guided through a series of steps to assist set up systems or handle technical challenges.
- Troubleshooting system and network issues, as well as identifying and resolving hardware or software errors.
- Contributing to system enhancement roadmaps and access/date audits.
- Raising technical and cyber incidents as they emerge, in accordance with the Incident Management procedure. Supporting incident triage, containment, and resolution.
- Supporting and adhering to change management methods in order to achieve strong improvement with high rigour.
- Continuously improve process documentation and training materials.
Competencies needed include:
- Experience working in an M365 and Azure AD environment.
- Experience as a significant member of an IT support or service delivery team.
- Experience using and maintaining a portfolio of SaaS software products.
- Have prior experience working in accordance with ITIL standards.
- Understanding of MacOS and Windows.
- Excellent understanding of Atlassian tools, including Confluence and JIRA.
- Capable of making a reasonable assessment of the system’s behaviour in order to evaluate escalation requirements.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Nice to have:
- Experience with incident management and response/resolution SLA standards.
- Experience with BCP Planning and Disaster Recovery strategies for IT infrastructure.
- Experience establishing security solutions to protect enterprise systems from external attacks.
- Experience creating and administering PIM and PAM programmes.
- Experience with IT monitoring and alerting.
