JOB SUMMARY

People say that University Hospitals Birmingham (UHB) is a great place to work because they are known for being compassionate and kind to patients. We were recently given the contract to provide sexual health services for Birmingham and Solihull again as a Trust.

We are known for being able to meet the needs of a young, diverse community. With a focus on more integrated sexual health services, we will continue to provide a network for people in Birmingham and Solihull.

Sexual health service is a leader in its field because it was the first to offer online testing and work with pharmacies to provide sexual health services. It is also one of the few services that does all of its own online testing, so patients have a smooth experience whether they do their testing online or in person. To stay at the top of our field, we want to keep coming up with new ideas. Health promotion and prevention, along with birth control, will be given top attention in this highly valued service. STI testing and treatment will also be available.

Since a respected coworker retired, we can now start the process of hiring a new General Manager for this important business.

As General Manager, you will be in charge of leading change within the service. For example, you will be in charge of making it easier for people to get services by changing our digital and online platforms.
